Linda Diane Goodell, 75, of Grubville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in her home. She was born October 6, 1950, In Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of James and Aliene Faith (Blackman) Rader. She graduated high school in 1968 and later attended a business college in Kansas City.

Diane married Scotty “Pork” Goodell on August 12, 1972, at the Sunbeam United Presbyterian Church in Aledo, and he survives.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years; stepson, Scotty Goodell; Mike, Christopher Goodell, Merissa Lambert; son, Joe (Al) Goodell of Missouri; Josiah, Cecily and Mollie Goodell; and Kody and Kaleb Parkins, sons of Cindy Van Hoozen; brother, Brian (Sharla) Rader and their children, Brandon and Brianna.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Van Hoozen, son-in-law, Chris Van Hoozen, Mother who raised her, Lois Rader, father, Bud Rader and brother, David Rader.

Diane worked several jobs over the years. She worked as a data entry specialist in Macomb, for Sprout trucking in Roseville as a dispatcher, as a cook at the Lunch Box, and for many years as a cook for the Roseville Nursing Home.

Diane loved to embroider and sew whenever she could. She also enjoyed making flower arrangements. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2025, at the funeral home. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family and left in the care of the funeral home.
