United FFA recently sent a team of seven sophomores to the Section 4 Soils contest to compete in the Novice Division. Chapter President Meredith Yung shares the team’s success.
“We had a team compete in the Section Soils Contest, and we only had a novice team, so they were pretty young,’ says Yung. “They placed first, and then Reagan Shike placed second individually, along with the rest of the United team, taking most of the top ten from eighth place above.”
Other team placings included Henry Gibson- 3rd, Peyton Martin- 4th, Paxson Wallace- 5th, Jolie Johnson- 6th, Seth Bennet- 7th, and Danni Johnson- 8th.
