ROE #33 Reports Strong First-Quarter Impact Across Four Counties

Serving nine school districts in Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren Counties, Regional Superintendent Kathryn Jennings with the Regional Office of Education #33, shares program data of families and students served from July to October:

“In just one quarter, our family literacy program currently has 51 families that it is serving between Knox and Warren Counties, that includes 109 children. We have 72 students actively working at RAES and so far, this school year we have had four graduates. We have had two students able to return back to their home districts this quarter. We have 215 children actively being served in our prenatal to age 3 program. We have completed 1,047 home visits. In the professional learning realm for educators, we have put on 97 different professional development opportunities for educators in our region and with those we have had 1,461 participants.”

The Regional Office of Education #33 currently has 277 employees.
