Sheriff Matthew Link; Henderson County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Dalton B. Smith, of Lomax, Illinois, following an investigation into a series of reported burglaries and thefts across Henderson County.
Following the investigation, Smith has been formally charged with:
• Burglary — Class 2 Felony
• Theft — Class 3 Felony
• Possession of Burglary Tools — Class 4 Felony
This arrest reflects the continued commitment of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office to protecting our communities and holding individuals accountable. Additional investigative steps are ongoing.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
