OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth will soon be adding new imaging services aimed at making care more accessible for patients in the area. Carrie McCance, Public Relations and Communications Coordinator at OSF HealthCare, explains what’s coming.
“We have partnered with Shared Medical Services to bring our PET scan and our CT scan imaging services to Monmouth. This will help our outpatient access. We’ll have faster scan times and even more of a comfortable experience for our patients. It’s all designed to support quicker diagnosis and high quality of care. This means that we can provide advanced diagnostic imaging closer to home, less travel time. We’re all about patients and trying to keep them closer to home.”
McCance also shared that OSF is currently building Meadowview Behavioral Hospital in Peoria. The state-of-the-art facility will expand access to both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, including care for depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and more.
