Mrs. Sandra K. Fritzler, 87, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 11:08 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born July 25, 1938, in Galesburg, the only child of Francis J. and Leona Kathryn (Nielson) Ryan.  On January 23, 1964, she married the love of her life, Edward Robert Fritzler, in Winter Haven, Florida.  They shared 31 years of marriage before his passing on March 11, 1995.

Sandra is survived by her stepson and long-time friend, Al (and Erica) Hull of Galesburg; her granddaughter, Lexi Hull of Galesburg; and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, as well as her parents.

A 1956 graduate of Galesburg High School, Sandra continued her education at Knox College in Galesburg and Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Legends Banquet Hall in Galesburg and was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  Sandra had a great love for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows.  She also delighted in traveling the country to watch Elvis Presley impersonator performances.

As Sandra requested, a private committal service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service, Galesburg Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at their website.
