As equipment sits through seasons of not being used, it becomes more difficult for that engine to run properly, informs Triple J Repairs Mechanic Jim Jones:

“Lack of maintenance. Lack of use. Ethanol can be an issue when something sits, it breaks down and ultimately you have to repair the fuel system. It all comes down to the fuel that you use and being conscious of the possibilities that if you are going to let it sit for six months, you may or may not get it running, it is just one of those things. Having another set of eyes to see, hear, or feel things that may be wrong, it is a gradual thing the customers don’t notice until it does go wrong.”

Triple J Repairs is nearing their one-year anniversary date of servicing equipment and small engines in the Monmouth community.
