Advanced Tools Helping Coaches Fine-Tune Player Development

Sports as we know them continue to evolve, and baseball is no exception. Former Oneida Legion and Knox College coach James Clark, now Director of Community Engagement at Bridgeway, says new technology is changing how players train and develop. 

Clark says this new technology allows coaches to break down swings in ways that weren’t possible before. For example, he notes that one athlete he trained had a fundamentally sound swing, but wasn’t generating enough exit velocity, pointing him toward strength training rather than mechanical changes.
