New for 2026, the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce is going to shine a light on and celebrate the work of the nonprofits in the community with a new series, explains Executive Director Pam Gaither:
“We are rolling out a nonprofit spotlight series called ‘Heart of the Community.’ We have around 70 nonprofit members, so it will be sometimes multiple times a week that we will be highlighting a nonprofit in our community that is a Chamber member. This is just a free addition to their membership to give those nonprofits some extra exposure and pour some love into what they do.”
Additionally, Gaither informs the Galesburg Chamber will also be launching a business workshop series called ‘Level Up,’ giving local businesses the opportunity to showcase what they do to others in the community.
