Last December, Graham Health System committed $500,000 to Sandburg in support of student success. Director of the Western Region with Graham Eric Rahn, informs this partnership also allows students to complete clinicals and possibly a future career in the health field:
“They opened up a brand-new facility for their Science and Technology Center. They have the technicians and potential nursing students that we are looking for; we want to partner with people that have that passion to grow from within if you will,” states Rahn.
“When Graham first came into Galesburg, it was one of the first partnerships that they established right out of the gate. They saw the power of the Galesburg Promise. That relationship with Sandburg, we are working closely with them and their administration and their staff and the students for lots of shadowing opportunities and potential career paths,” Rahn adds.
Graham Health System’s commitment of $500,000 to Sandburg also led to the naming of the Graham Health System Science and Technology Center Atrium on the campus in Galesburg.
