The Knox County Health Department is now offering dental services full-time to patients, reports Information and Outreach Specialist Gracie Scharping:
“We have two new full-time dentists that are working at the health department now. We treat children starting at two years old, all the way through adulthood. We do preventative and restorative care and our dental program takes private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and we also offer a sliding fee scale for those who are uninsured or underinsured.”
The Knox County Health Department is located at 1361 West Fremont Street in Galesburg.
