The Monmouth Police Department has received a generous donation from Immanuel Baptist Church to upgrade a piece of equipment in their patrol vehicles, states Director of Operations Ken Helms:

“They donated about $6,500 to the department. The department used that money to buy new AEDs. Those are defibrillation devices that people will use if they are having heart conditions in emergency situations. The ones they currently had were about 20 years old. The department has one in every single squad car that we have, and it is always a good piece of equipment to have.”

Additionally, in 2025, the Monmouth Police Department conducted 1,053 total traffic stops, which was the most since 2016.
