If you were automatically enrolled into a health plan for 2026 through Get Covered Illinois, you may qualify for the ongoing limited-time Special Enrollment Period. Eagle View Community Health System Navigator Hannah Alecock explains:
“It would be for people who were automatically enrolled or maybe didn’t realize it until the last minute or people who made a plan, a selection, or dis-enrolled in that plan and then those who have not claimed their Get Covered Illinois account. You have to call Get Covered Illinois first to confirm that you have that Special Enrollment option. Then once you get that approval, I can help you get all set up. Typically, this is for someone 18 to 64 years of age.”
