While Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love and romance, which many show appreciation by buying flowers, Flowers Are Us in Monmouth Owner Jane Switzer says Mother’s Day is their busiest time of the year for flower arrangements:
“Valentine’s Day is a big one, but Mother’s Day is still the largest holiday for our flower shop. It just goes through the entire week. We can send flowers every day, even two weeks ahead of Mother’s Day. Valentine’s is one day. Easter is also a good holiday for flowers.”
Switzer is celebrating her 15th anniversary of owning Flowers Are Us in Monmouth.
