On Wednesday, February 25th, the Monmouth-Roseville FFA Alumni will host the 2026 Alumni Auction at the Monmouth American Legion. Each year, the group holds this auction to help support current members of the National FFA Organization with expenses throughout the year, shared M-R FFA Alumni member John Kane.

“The kids always go on the National and State conventions, so we help fund that. And then we also have van costs. We also pay for meals when they go to the State Convention, and we also pay for the FFA jackets. And then they also go on a Washington Leadership Conference in D.C. Pretty much kids from all over the United States who are in FFA go to D.C., and they get to tour around there,” Kane explained.

“Then the greenhouse- I remember when that opened up when I first got into high school, and Kilburn loves it, and all the kids love the greenhouse. We also provide scholarships for the kids who sign up for them, and they usually get around $1,000 each.”

Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., with the auction to follow at 6:30 p.m.
