With the end of the Fiscal Year nearing for the City of Monmouth, City Council has approved Wipfli to perform this year’s audit, informs City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher:
“Council did approve to engage in the services of Wipfli. They are the City’s auditors. They have been our auditors for quite a few years, and we retained their services again to perform the City audit and both the police and fire pension audits for the Fiscal Year. The fee is relatively the same that it has been in previous years; just under $82,000 for those services.”
The City of Monmouth’s Fiscal Year runs from May 1st to April 30th annually.
