Edgar Co HS Baseball Player Dies After Being Hit in Head with Baseball

A high school baseball player from Edgar County is dead after being hit in the head by a baseball last week.  The Peoria County Coroner’s Office says 15-year-old Chrisman High School sophomore Bentley Wolfe was hit in the head by a line drive during baseball practice.  Bentley was pronounced brain dead last Friday.  An autopsy showed the teen suffered detrimental head trauma due to blunt force trauma.
