Whether it’s a special occasion or just because, fresh flowers brighten any room. Flowers Are Us Owner Jane Switzer shares that with a little extra care, those flowers can last longer than you may expect:
“You want to change the water every two or three days and keep it fresh. We have FloraLife packets you can get to make sure that it has a little bit of FloraLife in the water. We have had people keep them two or three weeks. Sometimes you might want to trim the ends of the flowers a little bit if you are going to change the water. If they are small enough to put in the refrigerator, it keeps them longer as well.”
Switzer recently celebrated her 15th Anniversary of operating Flowers Are Us in Monmouth.
