Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain Great Value cottage cheese products sold at Walmart. According to the FDA recall alert, liquid dairy ingredients in the affected products may not have met state regulatory pasteurization standards and consuming unpasteurized dairy can pose serious health risks. Three Great Value cottage cheese products are affected by the recall and were distributed to Walmart stores across 24 states including California, Georgia, Illinois, Texas and more. Customers who purchased the recalled products are advised to throw the items away or return them to their nearest Walmart for a full refund.
