The Monmouth-Roseville Jr High wrestling team competed at the Knoxville IESA Regional tournament on Saturday. The Titans had six first place finishers: Tyler Armstrong, Dawt Thang, Antoni Cruz-Carrillo, Cesar Perez-Hernandez, Liam Elliott, and Israel Aparicio-Lopez. Three third place finishers: Jacob Vester, Emmanuel Manduko, and Lane Guthrie. The Titans also had Three fourth place finishers: Maddox Cohill, Nash Schultz, and Rebekah Juan-Mayes. Titan wrestling finished third overall in the meet as a team. First, second and third place finishers will advance to IESA Sectionals at Rochester next Saturday. Fourth place finishers will serve as alternates for the sectional meet.
