The Warren Achievement Center has been part of the Monmouth community since 1961, when it started as a one-room school for students with developmental disabilities.

Since then, the Warren Achievement Center has grown into a staple in the community.

March is a special month for the organization, as it is People Living with Congenital and Intellectual Disability Month, shares Marketing Coordinator Sean Cavanaugh.

“We encourage people to reflect for a little bit on what that means for the community, what Warren Achievement Center does, and maybe there’s a way you can help out. Whether it be financially, volunteering your time, or donating certain items, I’m always all ears to hear any ideas.

This month is special, but in reality all 12 months recognize people living with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to make sure they are living their best life.”
