March 2026 numbers are in for the Monmouth Police Department, reports Police Chief Joe Switzer:
“We made 68 arrests. We issued 90 citations. We had 3,530 calls come into the dispatch center. The Monmouth Police Department handled 1,457 calls. The dispatch center did a total of 2,804 calls. We handled 23 accidents. The officers spent about ten hours in court for various different cases, and the officers works eighteen grant hours.”
Additionally, two work anniversaries were celebrated in March: Sergeant Luke Johnson with 22 years and Lieutenant Brandon Blackman with 19 years.
