Preston D. Wallace, 44, of Moline, IL passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Monmouth, IL.

Preston was born May 23, 1981, in Monmouth, the son of George and Vivian (Brent) Wallace.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth.

He married Eileen Walker on August 8, 2021, in Rock Island, IL.

Preston worked at Mid-American Glass in Davenport, IA for over 15 years. He later worked at Kraft Heinz in Muscatine, IA in the maintenance department.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, grilling out, smoking meat and was a food connoisseur.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen Wallace; his son, Zachary Wallace both of Moline; siblings, Shelly Cox of Monmouth, Chris Kidder of Monmouth and George (Shelly) Wallace of Abingdon, IL; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Lisa D. Kidder-Upton and Terry Brent.

 Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Ellison Cemetery, Smithshire, IL.  Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. Memorials may be given to Western Illinois Animal Rescue (WIAR) and sent to the funeral home.
