Warren County Animal Control is seeking the public’s input on obtaining information into an incident regarding a puppy being wounded, reports Officer Becca Livingston:

“At the beginning of April, I brought in a dog that had been shot in the head. She survived. Her name is Ellie. She actually was fostered with me for a week, the WIAR took her in, and now she is in a foster home doing wonderful. We are just trying to look for who dumped her,” says Livingston.

“She is just six months old and is only twenty pounds, she is teeny tiny. She found out on 210th Avenue and 30th Street, which is out by the Research Farm,” Livingston adds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Monmouth Police Department at 309-734-8383.
