As the 2026 planting season is underway, Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong reminds motorists and farmers to share the road safely:

“I just want to remind everyone to be safe, watch where you are going, get off your phones if you are driving your cars, and especially if you are driving a tractor, get off your phones. We need to share the road. Honestly, if you get caught behind something, they are probably going to be turning soon, they will get over to the side of the road once they see you; just have some patients. Be paying attention when you are on the road this time of the year.”

In addition to staying safe on the roadways, farmers, be sure to perform routine equipment checks, follow label instruction on products, wear the proper protective clothing, and take care of your body by getting enough sleep and eating healthy.
