William O. Krueger

Mr. William O. Krueger, 75, of Rio, Illinois, died at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

He was born on September 5, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles L. and Marchie (Brooks) Krueger. He married Toni E. Lancaster. She survives.

Also surviving is his son, Billy C. (and Candise) Krueger of Tennessee, a brother, Robert Krueger of Oklahoma, a grandchild, Dylan Krueger, and a great grandchild, Evan Krueger. He was preceded in death by his parents.

William graduated from Odessa High School in 1969. He served in the United States Navy for four years. He was a Special Agent Forensic Photographer and Image Specialist in the Forensic Service Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations for 32 years and retired in 2008. He was a member of the Rio Presbyterian Church.

As William requested, cremation will be accorded. No services are planned. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.h-p-w.com.
