On April 27, youth from Knox, Warren, and Henderson counties were among the 250 participants in the Illinois 4-H State Livestock Contest. Wendy Ferguson with the University of Illinois Extension shared highlights of the local participants’ achievements.
“In the senior division overall, we had two members of our 4-H judging teams place in the top 20. Fourteenth place went to Kalen Setterdahl from Knox County, and 17th place went to Maci Brooks from Warren County. There were 153 participants in this division.”
In the junior division, Rowan Main of Knox County placed first overall individually.
