Warren County Animal Control is looking for homes for several dogs as the shelter is currently full.

Animal Control Officer Becca Livingston says they have multiple dogs either available now or soon to be available for adoption.

“I’ve got a black German Shepherd, a black lab and pit mix, a brindle pit mix, Pickles, and then I’ve got a black and white Jack Russell that’s actually going to go to WIAR [Western Illinois Animal Rescue] here in a couple days. Then I’ve got a white dog with a tricolor face that’s an Aussie mix as well.”

Livingston says Pickles is a red heeler around four or five years old who is already spayed and microchipped.

Anyone interested in adopting can contact Warren County Animal Control. The shelter is located at 830 186th Avenue in Monmouth, and shelter hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 10 AM.
