Following a successful season of judging, the Warren County Judging Team will host one final contest to wrap up the year. University of Illinois Extension 4-H Youth Educator Shelby Carlson says the contest will take place on Monday, June 8.
“We competed at the state contest, and historically we’ve hosted a contest here in Warren County. We went back and forth on whether that was something we were going to be able to do this year, with the state contest already having passed,” Carlson shared. “We decided that this Warren County contest will do a wonderful job of recognizing youth of all different abilities.”
Carlson adds that this final contest will give team members another opportunity to practice their skills and gain confidence.
