According to Monmouth College President Dr. Patricia Draves, enrollment has grown as students prepare to return to campus ahead of the First Day of Classes on August 26th:
“We have a nice incoming class. We expect somewhere between 270 and 275 students coming in. Our enrollment had dropped, but last year we brought it back. We brought in an additional 35 students to bring in 265, so this year is looking even better than that. That is our plan, growth over time. We have thirteen students from Monmouth-Roseville High School and four students from United High School,” shares Dr. Draves.
“We are also welcoming our largest engineering class with 28 new students, and they will be joined and welcomed by two new faculty members,” Dr. Draves adds.
New Student Move-In Day at Monmouth College is Saturday, August 22nd, ahead of Welcome Week and the New Student Walkout around Downtown Monmouth on August 24th from 3 to 5 pm.
