Sweet peaches and some golfing sounds like two great things to end your summer break with. Fundraiser opportunities have hit full swing at the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau. Ashlyn Quinn discusses more about their fundraisers coming up for the month of August.
“Our peach orders are open. All of our peach ordes are due on August 10th, so you have just over a week to get your peach orders in. It’s a 25 pound box of peaches for $50, and then we also have cobbler and crisp mixes that you can buy, and those are $9 a piece. You can go on our website to get an order form or stop by the office, or just give us a call. Send us a check or cash before August 10th and we’ll get you added to our order, and then those will be delivered on August 20th.”
“Our golf outing is also coming up. So, we’ll get peaches on the 20th, and then we’ll turn around, that next day on Friday the 21st, we’ll have our golf outing. We still have some team spots available with that, but those are filling up quickly and we only have a handful left. If you’re interested in playing in our golf outing, again, you can go to our website whfarmbureau.org. Get a team registration form, fill that out, and all the proceeds benefit both of our foundations and scholarship funds.”
Buy some peaches or gather up a team for a fun day of golfing. The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau, who is also working with Tri-County Cattlemen, have a busy month ahead.
