After a week of celebrating the Stearman aircrafts, the 55th Annual National Stearman Fly-In will wrap up tomorrow, Saturday, September 12th with one final Community Day. Aaron Repp, a Director with the National Stearman Fly-In, highlights the scheduled activities:

“That coincides with our pancake breakfast, which starts at 7 am and goes to 11 am. During that time, we will also have youth activities from 9 am to noon. The kids can come out; they get a free tram ride for coming and hanging out and even can sit in some airplanes and talk with the flight instructor and get a cool photo opportunity. We have food vendors out here; you can go out to the flightline and take a tour and see all the wonderful Stearman aircrafts that are all parked out here and learn some of the wonderful history we have in our local community.”

Saturday’s Community Day events for the National Stearman Fly-In will take place at the Harrel W. Timmons Galesburg Regional Airport.
