According to Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Ed Fletcher, the district is down 51 students in their 6-Day Enrollment Report:

“We are down about 51 students this year, kindergarten through 12th Grade. We were at 1,482 last year and we are at 1,431 this year. As a whole, including pre-kindergarten, we are at about 1,527. We have seen this drop since 2006-2007, we are down about 205 kids district wide. Over 20 years that doesn’t seem significant, but it is significant. Any time you are losing students, because we need students to have teachers, to have classrooms. There have been years we have gone down 51 and there’s been years we go up 84, it is just one of those things. The overall trend is down.”
