Starting this October, the Monmouth American Legion will once again welcome the community for their season soup suppers, along with the return of spaghetti suppers. Past President of the Auxiliary, Judy Potter, explains these monthly meals, along with their Saturday Burger Frys, and full menu help support the Legion:
“We are a non-profit and we do quite a bit for the community. These help us take care of the donations that we do and also pay that huge power bill. Thank you for all the patronage and volunteers. We are always taking new volunteers.”
Soup suppers at the Monmouth American Legion will be held the first Mondays of each month through May (beginning Monday, October 5th), while the spaghetti suppers will be on the third Mondays of every month; both being served from 5 to 6:30 pm.
