October 19th through the 29th, the Warren County Health Department is offering their discounted labs, informs Community Health Coordinator Kira Schumm:
“We do a standard lab panel that pretty much covers what every provider wants their patients to get, either yearly or every six months. That includes a comprehensive metabolic panel, which looks at organ function, especially to make sure that any medication you are taking is not negatively impacting organs. We do a complete blood count. We do a lipid panel, so that looks at your good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, triglycerides. We also do hemoglobin A1C, which looks at blood sugar over the last two to three months. All four of those labs cost $85. We do not process insurance, we take cash or check at the time of your appointment.”
