A clean audit report and tentative tax levy were both new business items on the agenda during the latest Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education meeting, according to Superintendent Ed Fletcher:
“We had our 2025-2026 audit report. We have a clean bill of health from the auditors. No findings came back in the audit. We talked about our internal processes and that they are doing what they are suppose to do. Our financial status this year is 3.8, so we are in recognition status. Prior to this we were 4.0, but we knew when we sold some bonds a few years ago that would reduce our score, but still in recognition,” informs Superintendent Fletcher.
“We also approved our tentative tax levy. Last year, our rate was 4.637. Depending on where our EAV comes in at, we will probably be a little bit less than that. I’m guessing around 4.59 or 4.60. We won’t know until May. We don’t have our actual levy until December,” Superintendent Fletcher adds.
Additionally, Parent-Teacher Conferences for the Monmouth-Roseville School District are scheduled for October 21st and 22nd, with no school on Friday, October 23rd.
