John M. Dean, Jr, 72, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 3:10 am, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice House, Peoria, IL.
John was born June 21, 1952 in Clinton, IL the son of John M. Sr. and Vera Esteline (Freeman) Dean. He was raised and educated Monmouth, attending Monmouth High School.
John married Cindy Spangler on November 6, 1993 in Oquawka, IL and she survives.
He was an engineer, installing motors for Envision Boats.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Dean of Monmouth; 3brothers, Clay Dean, Bernie Dean and Darrin Dean; one sister, Gail Sage; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
