West Central Illinois ROSC Celebrates Recovery Through Storytelling

Share

West Central Illinois’ Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) will be hosting “Our Stories Have Power” on Saturday, June 28th from 11 am to 5 pm, shares System of Care Coordinator Jeff McFadden:

“The event is called “Our Stories Have Power” at Lincoln Parks Main Pavilion. We have found in recovery, it is important to have people, who we call people with lived experience, people have been doing recovery for some time, and their stories can not only be inspirational, but evidence that recovery can/does/and probably will work if a person tries. We are going to have a food truck by Mr. Macho Taco. We have several guest speakers. We will have some prizes and just have a lot of fun.”
