The Warren County Board has pledged $25,000 towards the Maple City Area Partnership, reports Buildings and Grounds Committee Chair Sean Cavanaugh:
“As a result, there are two County Board members that will sit on the Board of Directors for MCAP and I am very happy to do that. It will be a lot of fun working with Andrea and Sydney, Chris Gavin, the Mayor, and Lew. We are really encouraging other businesses to become investors in the process because we have the Chamber that has certain activities they perform and certain duties; so, the Maple City Area Partnership was created to give an extra tool in the toolbox to create incentives for businesses. Whether it be revolving loan funds or other measures, there is a million ways that you can draw a business in. The three committees are business development, marketing, and workforce development.”
