The Warren County History Museum has a special program coming up later this month honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

Executive Director Dr. Eugene Watkins shares the details.

“On July 23rd, that’s a Thursday at 7 PM, I will be giving a little talk on Illinois in the Revolutionary War. I think the Spanish involvement and all the expeditions that passed through Illinois to Indiana and Michigan, and all the intrigue and diplomacy that went on, are things that most people don’t realize were going on in Illinois during the Revolution.”

The program is called “Illinois in the Revolutionary War, 1775 to 1783,” and will be held at the Warren County History Museum. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit wchistorymuseum.com.
