Big River Resources President and CEO David Zimmerman says 2022 was a good strong year for the company:

“So, 2022 was what I would call a very strong year for Big River Resources. First and foremost, everyone was safe through the year. All of our employees and staff came through and just performed wonderfully through the year. From a profitability standpoint gonna be one of our better years”

Zimmerman says renewable fuels has had some wins this past year:

“It’s a retailer choice act and what it essentially does is it gives us the year-round E-15 that the industry has been fighting for, for the better part of ten years. “

Big River Resources is located in Monmouth and Galva as well as Iowa and Wisconsin. Currently the company is working on their carbon sequestration which will ultimately give the company a negative carbon index score. The Inflation Reduction Act passed last year at the federal level requires a national clean fuels standard and will judge fuels on their carbon scores.
