WCHD Administrator Link Says Warren County at Medium COVID Level

Share

In the latest COVID update for Warren County from Health Department Administrator Jenna Link, the local community is at a medium level:

“We are still seeing COVID. The community level right now is medium, which looks at the number of new cases, it looks at hospitalizations and emergency room visits, and then the percentage of hospital beds that are confirmed COVID patients, so that is at a medium level; that is good, I mean they are busy, but it is not really having a huge impact on our healthcare system right now with COVID. It seems to be more of the influenza than COVID. Our community transmission level is still high, so lots of new cases are still spreading.”

Administrator Link recommends staying up to date on booster vaccinations, staying home if you are ill, cover your cough, and keep washing your hands.
