The Illinois Prep Top Times Indoor State Track Meet is set for this weekend. Several Monmouth-Roseville athletes will be competing in the event including senior boys throwers Ethan Davis and Trevor Snyder in the Shot Put, as well as long jumper Jerome Jackson. Davis set a new school indoor shot put record this past weekend at Monmouth College. Jackson is the new school record holder in the long jump after his performance last weekend, as well. On the girls side, junior thrower Carmyn Huston will take part in the Shot Put, she is currently ranked 8th and just recently reset the Titans girls shot put record formerly held by her sister Ryley Huston. Monmouth-Roseville Athletic Director Jeremy Adolphson says the track program is excited to compete at a high level early in the track season.
