Monmouth-Roseville Titan baseball is moving on to semifinal play in the class 2A Macomb High School Regional. The Titans went back and forth with Illini West to start their quarterfinal match on Monday, but pulled away in the late innigs to secure the 8-2 win over the Chargers. The win for (15-9-1) M-R sets up a semifinal match with a very solid ballclub in the Indians of Elmwood/Brimfield this evening. As they prepare for tonights win or go home game, Head Coach of the Titans Jordan Ball, discussed what he expects to see out of Elmwood/Brimfield.

Monmouth-Roseville vs (21-9-1) Elmwood/Brimfield will be the first semifinal game tonight at Macomb High School, with the first pitch scheduled for 4:30. The winner of that game will take on the winner of tonight’s second game between West Hancock, and the host Macomb Bombers.
