Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association Awards Seven Scholarships to Graduating Seniors

As the 2022-23 school year comes to a close, the Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association has recognized a group of outstanding seniors with scholarships. Tri-County Cattlemen’s secretary Gayle Baker shared this year’s list of recipients.

“Our Casey Krieg Memorial Scholarship winner this year was Carter Hoge from Macomb High School,” said Baker. “On top of that, the Tri-County Cattlemen’s gives out six, $1,000 scholarships. We have Gracyn Welsh from West Prairie High School, Conner Gibb from West Central High School, Jacob Sparrow from Illinois Central, Bradon DeCounter from West Prairie, Aeryn Mahr from Abingdon- Avon, and Kendyl Kane from Monmouth Roseville.”

Scholarships are made possible through fundraising events as well as industry and community sponsors.
