The United high school baseball team wrapped up their season this past Saturday with a 7-1 loss to the Illini Bluffs Tigers in the class 1A Abingdon-Avon Regional championship game. The regional championship appearance this year was the 4th regional championship game in a row for the Red Storm, as United ends their 2022-2023 campaign with a 17-12 record overall. Appearing on the WRAM Morning Show this morning, Red Storm Head Coach Ryan Molek says he is proud of his team for another season with a consistent body of work.

In addition to another regional championship game appearance, the Red Storm captured a share of the Lincoln Trail Conference West Division title, as they tied Mercer County with a 7-1 mark in division play. For the full interview with Coach Molek, visit the Sports Podcast section.
