Hazel Fox, age 96, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away Tuesday June 6, 2023 at Courtyard Estates in Monmouth.  She was born August 26, 1926 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of Lee and Annette Melvin Hensley.  On November 25, 1944, she married Wendell Fox in LaHarpe.  

Survivors include her husband, three children: Donna Cargill of Morton, IL, two sons: Randy (Grace) Fox of Burlington, IA, Rod (Lori) Fox of Oquawka, IL, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

The funeral for Mrs. Fox will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Stronghurst Christian Church, with Steve Minkler officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stronghurst Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst.  Memorials have been established for the Stronghurst Christian Church and the Stronghurst- Raritan Ambulance Service.  Please visit banksandbeals.com to leave a condolence.
