Jason Lancaster Tabbed with Keeping Red Storm Boys Basketball Heading Upwards

Share

The United Red Storm boys basketball program has found its new leader. United Athletic Director Jeremy Sharp has announced that Jason Lancaster will head up the program. Sharp said Lancaster was chosen from several quality applicants. Although it will be Lancaster’s first varsity head coaching job, he’s familiar with the kids in the basketball program, as he has been involved in the Red Storm boys junior high program with some success in the last few years. The Red Storm 7th grade boys won a regional championship this past winter. Lancaster has also served as a freshman boys basketball head coach at Monmouth-Roseville under then-head coach Chuck Grant. Sharp says he’s excited to see what Lancaster can do with the program.

Lancaster takes over for former head coach Doug Dennison. Dennison won the consolidation’s first boys basketball regional championship in the 2021-2022 season.
