The Monmouth College Fighting Scots football team improved their record to 1-1 after a home win at April Zorn Memorial Stadium over the weekend. Aided by a 4 sack performance from senior defensive end Tevin Baker, and 3 70+ yard touchdowns from running back McKade Brooks , and wide receivers Jackson Bergren and Nick Obsaint, the Scots would take care of Midwest Conference rival Chicago, by a final score of 39-6. The win for Monmouth College starts them off at 1-0 in MWC play, heading in to an upcoming road match at Lawrence University.
