Todd A. Edwin, 51, of Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 2:50 am on September, 24, 2023 in Kirkwood.
He was born December 17, 1971 in Albert Lea, MN, the son of Dennis and Sharon (Koeller) Edwin. He was raised and educated in Kirkwood, IL, graduating from Yorkwood, High School in 1990.
Todd married Lesley Kinney in Monmouth, Il in March 1995.
Todd was a superintendent at Smithfield Foods in Monmouth, IL for almost 35 years.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Monmouth. He also was a member of Gibson Wood in Monmouth and Youngs Lake in Kirkwood. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, mowing his yard and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Surviving is his fiancé, Gillian Dowdall of Kirkwood; his children, Cody (Lindsay Miller) Edwin of Monmouth, Jordan Edwin of Monmouth, Dylan (Alex Brady) Fuller of Galesburg and Blake Edwin of Kirkwood; one grandson, Wyatt Edwin; his mother, Sharon Edwin of Kirkwood; his two sisters, Kim (Steve) Darrah of Lincoln, IL and Michelle (Brent) Routh of Davenport, IA; niece, Rachel Darrah.
Preceded in death by his father, Dennis Edwin.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 pm at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. Cremation has been accorded.
